Acceptable Use Policy

The purpose of this policy is to protect our customers, platform infrastructure, third-party providers, and the broader public from unlawful, abusive, harmful, or disruptive activities.

By accessing or using Client Harbor services, you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy.

General Use Requirements

Users must use the Client Harbor platform in a lawful, ethical, and responsible manner.

You agree not to use the platform in any way that:

  • Violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringes on the rights of others
  • Interferes with platform operations
  • Harms other users
  • Creates security risks
  • Violates third-party service requirements

Users are responsible for all activity occurring under their account.

Compliance With Laws

Customers must comply with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws when using Client Harbor services.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Consumer protection laws
  • Privacy laws
  • Marketing regulations
  • Telecommunications regulations
  • Intellectual property laws
  • Data protection laws
  • Anti-spam regulations

Compliance obligations remain the sole responsibility of the customer.

Prohibited Activities

Users may not use Client Harbor to engage in activities that are unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive.

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Fraudulent schemes
  • Identity theft
  • Phishing
  • Scams
  • Misrepresentation
  • Deceptive advertising
  • Illegal gambling
  • Money laundering
  • Unauthorized financial activities
  • Harassment
  • Threats or intimidation
  • Distribution of malicious software

Any activity determined to be harmful to the platform, its users, or the public may be prohibited at Client Harbor's discretion.

Spam and Unsolicited Communications

Users may not use Client Harbor to send unsolicited communications.

Prohibited activities include:

  • Bulk unsolicited emails
  • SMS spam
  • Purchased contact lists
  • Scraped contact databases
  • Unsolicited marketing campaigns
  • Messaging without proper consent

All communications must comply with applicable consent requirements and industry standards.

Customers remain solely responsible for obtaining valid consent before contacting recipients.

Messaging Compliance

Users utilizing SMS, MMS, calling, email, or communication features must comply with:

  • TCPA requirements
  • CAN-SPAM requirements
  • A2P 10DLC requirements
  • Carrier regulations
  • Consumer consent standards
  • Applicable messaging laws

Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of services.

Restricted Industries

Certain industries may be restricted, prohibited, or subject to additional review.

Examples may include:

  • Illegal products or services
  • Counterfeit goods
  • Pyramid schemes
  • Multi-level marketing programs that violate applicable laws
  • Adult content businesses
  • Hate-related organizations
  • Illegal financial services
  • Unlicensed gambling operations
  • Illegal drug-related businesses

Client Harbor reserves the right to determine whether a business category is acceptable for platform use.

Intellectual Property

Users may not upload, distribute, publish, or transmit content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others.

This includes:

  • Copyright violations
  • Trademark infringement
  • Unauthorized use of protected materials
  • Pirated software or content

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring they have appropriate rights to all content used within their accounts.

Security Violations

Users may not attempt to compromise the security, integrity, or availability of the platform.

Prohibited activities include:

  • Unauthorized access attempts
  • Circumvention of security measures
  • Network attacks
  • Vulnerability exploitation
  • Unauthorized data access
  • Credential theft
  • Malware distribution

Any suspected security-related activity may result in immediate suspension.

System Abuse

Users may not engage in behavior that negatively impacts platform performance or stability.

Examples include:

  • Excessive automated requests
  • Resource abuse
  • Unauthorized scraping
  • Artificial traffic generation
  • Activities that disrupt service availability

Client Harbor reserves the right to limit or suspend activity that threatens platform performance.

Artificial Intelligence Usage

If AI-related services are available through the platform, users may not utilize those services to:

  • Generate unlawful content
  • Facilitate fraud
  • Mislead consumers
  • Violate intellectual property rights
  • Circumvent laws or regulations
  • Engage in prohibited activities under this policy

AI-generated content remains the responsibility of the customer.

Data Privacy Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their collection, storage, processing, and use of personal information complies with applicable privacy laws and regulations.

Client Harbor does not assume responsibility for customer compliance obligations related to personal data.

Users should maintain appropriate privacy policies, consent mechanisms, and compliance procedures.

Third-Party Services

Many platform features rely on third-party providers.

Users must comply with all applicable third-party service requirements when utilizing integrated services.

Violations of third-party provider policies may result in restricted access to certain functionality.

Monitoring and Enforcement

Client Harbor reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this policy.

Actions may include:

  • Reviewing account activity
  • Restricting platform access
  • Suspending services
  • Removing content
  • Terminating accounts
  • Reporting unlawful activity to appropriate authorities

Client Harbor is not obligated to provide advance notice before taking enforcement action.

Account Suspension or Termination

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in:

  • Warnings
  • Temporary restrictions
  • Service suspension
  • Permanent account termination

The severity of enforcement will depend upon the nature and severity of the violation.

Certain violations may result in immediate termination without prior notice.

No Circumvention

Users may not attempt to bypass restrictions, suspensions, compliance reviews, or enforcement actions imposed by Client Harbor.

Attempts to create new accounts to evade enforcement actions may result in permanent restrictions.

Policy Updates

Client Harbor reserves the right to update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time.

Updated versions may be posted on the website or otherwise communicated to users.

Continued use of the platform following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
